Children
from St Iberius National School at the IceAid fundraising exhibition in
The Pigyard Gallery, Wexford, Ireland in May 2006. The exhibition raised
over €6,000 for the Alfred and Agnes Orphanage in Liberia. |
In one innovative fundraising exercise pupils from St. Iberius National
School, Ireland have decided to "adopt" a framed photograph
from the show. The pupils will buy a print for their school knowing that
the money spent on it will go towards the rehabilitation of the Alfred
and Agnes orphanage in Monrovia, Liberia. The picture will therefore serve
as a reminder to these children that there are many less fortunate children
in the world. Through the kind generosity of donors from Wexford, Ireland
the 75 children at this Monrovia orphanage will have a chance at a better
future. |
